Absolutely. Most smaller or side projects fit fine on the free plan, while only your bigger or more critical apps might need to upgrade.
How do alerts work?
You can receive alerts via email or Slack. Just choose your preferred method (or both) and we'll notify you when something needs attention.
How often do you check my website or server's status?
We run ping checks at regular intervals to ensure your site is responsive, depending on your project plan. For server metrics (CPU, RAM, etc.), you can configure how frequently your server reports data. That way, you get timely and relevant alerts without excessive noise.

Yes! Plans are flexible. You can upgrade or downgrade a project's plan at any time.
Is there a contract or long-term commitment?
None at all. Serenity Monitor is month-to-month, and you're free to cancel whenever you like.
How do I monitor custom data, like user signups or app usage?
We provide a straightforward API endpoint for sending your app's data to Serenity Monitor. Just post the relevant metrics, such as new user counts or daily active users, and set up alerts based on the rules you create. It's flexible and works with any programming language.

Can I customize the alerts and thresholds for server or data monitoring?
Absolutely! You can specify alert thresholds for CPU usage, RAM consumption or disk space. When a threshold is crossed, we'll let you know via email or Slack so you can take action right away.
Do I need any special software on my server to monitor it?
We provide a simple script you can install to send us your server metrics, which will just call our API. It's lightweight, easy to set up, and ensures you're only reporting the data you want to track - nothing more.
